Jaguar uses an eight-speed automatic with three-cylinder powertrains. P300e combines this with an Electric Rear Axle Drive, so transmission and hybrid AWD data should be assessed together.
E-PACE symptoms can involve the front transmission, rear electric drive on P300e, AWD coupling or conventional driveline components, depending on version.
E-PACE symptoms can overlap between transmission and AWD systems, especially on PHEV models where the electric rear axle participates in propulsion.
A pause before the car engages can involve hydraulic pressure, clutch application, valve-body operation, converter fill or internal seal wear.
Abrupt changes can involve adaptation values, pressure-control solenoids, valve-body wear, mounts or internal clutch damage.

E-PACE codes must be interpreted by 8-speed versus 9-speed and conventional/MHEV/PHEV powertrain. Generic DTCs are only a starting point.

On P300e, transmission diagnosis should be combined with hybrid and rear electric-drive fault data rather than treating it as a stand-alone conventional automatic.
E-PACE repair cost depends on 8-speed versus 9-speed, AWD/PHEV integration and whether the failure is valve-body, control or internal.
